Finally bringing a lifelong pursuit into the light

I’ve dabbled with visual art my entire life. Stops and starts but this is the first time I’m becoming an actual artist. It’s a journey I am thrilled to be taking. 

There is healing in nature. Walking out on the trails, the mountains, hills, rivers and streams. A connection that feeds the soul. Can you paint that? I’m answering that question with each canvas.

My focus is landscapes – inspired by Turner and Thomas Cole with a strong sprinkling of happy Bob Ross attitude; I want to create scenes that make you feel like you are there. With a feeling of space and calm which too often gets plowed over in this frantic world. 

Based in Queensbury, NY, on the doorstep of the Adirondacks. I’m very fortunate to have countless vistas still to capture.
